INTRODUCTION

I have over 8 years of experience working in IT Support and development and my clientele consists of two Fortune 100 firms, one a leading American financial services corporation and the other amongst the top three healthcare insurers in the US. My IT support experience includes working in 24*7 model with pager rotation. The below sections would shed more light on my professional experience till date.

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

WEB SERVICES/IBM Datapower XG45

• Designing a service configuration, selecting appropriate security patterns keeping in mind the technical constraints of consumer and provider.

• Implementing SOAP/RESTful configuration using Datapower services l ike Web Service Proxy(WSP) and Mul t i-Protocol GateWay(MPGW).

• Implementing channel level/message level security through usage of Datapower objects like Crypto Identification Credentials, Crypto Validation

Credentials etc.

• Composing XSLT’s to take care of custom requirements pertaining to logging, security etc.

• Implementing log targets and configuration files for syslog server logging.

• Rich experience troubleshooting Datapower configurations.

• Migrating Datapower configurations/objects from lower through to higher environments through packages.

• Testing web service functionality from a connectivity perspective using SOAP UI and giving recommendations to teams on the correct way to consume

the services.

UNIX

• UNIX server monitoring, collecting stats pertaining to active processes, CPU utilisation, disk usage etc.

• Using pattern matching with grep/egrep to scan through UNIX server logs for troubleshooting purposes.

• Rich experience working with files/directories and text processing commands.

• Creating shell scripts.

MAINFRAME

• Used Expediter tool to analyse COBOL-CICS-DB2 code to trace existing logic and arrive at Root Cause of complex issues.

• Querying IBM DB2 database using SQL queries.

• Excellent knowledge of Job Control Language(JCL) and associated troubleshooting.

• Strong knowledge of KSDS and VSAM datasets, implementing the basic operations (READ/WRITE/UPDATE/DELETE)

through code.

Web Services Integration team takes care of configuring proxies(REST/SOAP) on the IBM Datapower XG45 appliances to facilitate B2B integrations. The team works on projects starting from the requirements phase through to the final install and validation.

Production & Enhancement (P&E) Project (Client: A major US healthcare insurer)

July 2009 to April 2014

Description:

P&E is an Application Support and enhancement project for the Healthcare Company's various applications on Claims, Provider, Member and Plan domains. The Project team focuses on production activities. The team works closely with the Level 3 support team to identify root causes of issues and to initiate change requests for their permanent fix. Directory Services support project (Client: A Fortune 100 US financial firm) Duration:

January 2008 to March 2009

Description:

Directory services project is a server support project. The Unix servers house the database of the members and several applications hit the servers for the relevant member related information. The team’s responsibility is to ensure that the servers are always up and running so that the applications hitting the servers are not impacted. This project calls for 24*7 offshore support.

• Helped conceive and implement ideas for left shift resulting in drastic reduction in resolution times of complex

and high impact issues.

• Through proper issue documentation, coordination and effective follow up mechanisms, helped my team to
