EXPERIENCE

TELECOMMUNICATIONS

As Lead technician for Mastec a Sprint telephone company contractor he directed and trained his crew on building Voice and Data networks and doing all work- orders for a moves adds and changes(MACS), including larger jobs such as Holiday Inn Xpress where he was asked to design and direct the building, of the main distribution frame (MDF) /PBX which included mounting and terminating 66, blocks for telephone lines and Cat. 5 Patch Panels. Along with directing the crew in pulling and terminating all the Cat. 3 and Cat. 5 at the end termination point . Another large project apartment complex with a total of 16, 12 unit buildings named the Allegro apartment complex he was asked to design and direct the building and termination of all the Telephony intermediate distribution frames (IDf) which included water meters, for each building including all interior outlets cable television Telephone and Data ports . Another project he directed was a time share resort at the South end of Las Vegas Blvd. which included running and building all appropriate ladder rack needed for cabling Cat. 3 and Cat. 5 for the 5 story administration building offices guest, suites, elevators, and parking garage terminations including building the MAIN Distribution Frame (MDF)/PBX doing all cross connect work . This included pulling all cabling through EMT hard conduit and EMT flexible conduit. Other smaller projects included running 4 inch, Conduit for Fiber Optic Cable to enter Las Vegas City Hall along with Retro fitting the telephone and Data Network for Catholic Charities Homeless shelter and Women In CRISIS (WIC) along with their food distribution center. Another project included setting all of the (LIU) Light Interface Units for a 9 story Howard Hughs Corporation Building for each story of the building. He also directed his crew in the setup and termination of temporary phone lines for construction trailers on many construction sites in Las Vegas Clarke county area. Installed Network Interface Devices(NID) as D-Marcation Points for commercial businesses and residential homes When needed was asked to splice copper phone lines up to 600 pair count. Other duties as Lead technician were to direct crew in the placing and setting of Remote Digital Terminals (RDT) Mesa Cabinet also setting up along side of (RDT) was a cool cell Battery backup cabinet along with appropriate outdoor conduit to connect cabinets with quick connect cabling cool cell cabinets were required to be loaded with6 to 36 large Backup Batteries, Mesa (RDT) cabinets were required to be loaded with24 to 96 duel (POTS)Plain Old Telephone Service Line cards for residential neighborhoods. Was also contracted out to Marconi Communications Inc. to help on setting up telephone systems for the Texas, Flamingo, Frontier, Tropicana, Belagio Hotel Casino Properties.

As lead technician for OneSource Inc. he directed and trained a crew of 8 in the installation of the Voice and Data networks in a Hilton Homewood Suites in Henderson Nv was asked to design and direct the building of the Main Distribution Frame (MDF)/PBX directed crew in the pulling and termination of all cabling Cat. 3 Cat. 5 Cat. 6 for the administration section and all guest rooms which included the building of 13 Intermediate Distribution Frames (IDF) with all appropriate ladder rack equipment installed to protect cabling when needed.

As installation Technician with Datel Communications, South western Communications, Accelerated Technologies became Skilled on many construction projects new and retro fit in performing Cat.5 cat.6, coaxial, and fiber optic termination work and building RDT, MDF, AND IDF systems. Effectively perform copper splicing, Outside Plant ( OSP) maintenance

In the role of lead technician with Mastec and one source, supervised delegated assignments to teams of2-8 technicians, requisitioned job supplies/ materials, inspected work to ensure safety/ quality compliance.

Installed, serviced, and collected monies from pay telephones,(superior communications).

Most recently, he worked with a company out of New York state called Darwin T. C. a telecommunications,company he was hired on for the duration of the job which was a W,I.F.I upgrade to a Target Corporation D. C./Distribution Center, the upgrade consisted of 256 Category 6 runs Terminated and Tested in the 2 Million sq. ft. facility all runs were made and routed off of 40 ft. scissor lifts and man lifts in the ceiling rafters of the building. Also 2, 1000 ft. Fiber Optic runs being dropped off at necessary points/ I.D. F.s/ Intermediate Distribution Frames, and he worked on the mounting and termination and Testing of 240 Cisco W.I.F.I Access Points, along with mounting in ceiling rafters 13 additional I.D.F.s and helping install and set up all rack and stack equipment necessary for new I. D. F.S, helped make all Terminations necessary and Testing .

Currently working with a Low Voltage Technical Staffing company Called Outsource Telecom. While working with this company he has been contracted to companies such as Volt Telecom to work on the installation and service a Contract consisting of the upgrade of N.G.I.S. Naval Gateway Inn and Suites, which consists of an Installation upgrade of the W.IF.I Networks of the Hotels which consists of pulling out old equipment and installing, Testing and Servicing new Access Points, Ruckus 200sand working with the Rack and Stack Equipment when necessary the Naval facilities such as Lemoore Naval Air Station in Lemoore Ca, China Lake Naval Air Weapons Station in Ridgecrest Ca, including the Naval Post Graduate School in Monterey Ca, also Moffitt Field in Mountain View Ca. Other companies including, Fire and Security Integrations to help work on a Fire Alarm System Terminating, ceiling Horn Strobes off of 25 ft. Scissor Lifts for soon to be opening Wal Mart I Wasco Ca. Also another Company Called Enhanced Voice and Data he helped pull and Terminate a 1200 ft. Fiber Optic run at a Industrial Facility owned by a company called Schlumberger, another company called H.B. Network Solutions contracted him to work with them on a Retro Fit Installation upgrade of a Marriott Hotels W.I.F.I. Network including pulling and Terminating all new Category 6 and placing of new Access Points on all Levels of the hotel, in Bakersfield Ca. Another company called PCC Network Solutions contracted Outsource Telecom to use him in the Retro Fit Installation of a Kern County Medical Facility, including Running, Routing and Terminating and Testing of Category 6 Cabling

Also he is currently working with a company called Critical Signal Technologies on an as needed basis to do the Installation and Testing of Medical Monitoring Equipment in a Residential Setting. Going to the homes of people, setting up there equipment testing it and instructing them on how to use it.

BROADBAND COMMUNICATIONS
