nManaging assisted living staff, including staffing, in-services, staff education regarding changing care needs & medication educate for med techs, holding staff meetings, communication with staff to ensure that resident are receiving quality care.
nManaging and providing accurate information regarding resident care such as processing orders, coordinating care with home health & doctors, ensuring resident care plans reflect residents individual needs & preferences, ensure that resident conditions are monitored so physician can be notified immediately and appropriate action can be taken, organize care conferences with responsible parties annually or when resident have significant change.
nMaintaining open communication with responsible parties, physicians and home health to ensure that quality care is provide to the resident. Making calls, ensuring that proper documentation and correct orders are being obtained is being done by all parties involved and ensuring documentation is accurate to ensure that resident needs are reflected in the care being provided by the community and home health.
nAssisting residents with care if needed such as; assisting with transfers, toileting, dressing, showers, ambulation and medications. Ensuring that all skin issues and changes in condition to residents are followed up routinely until concern is resolved or additional needs are being met.

nAssist with patients with medications, ensuring that documentation is accurate on the MARS, document any new issues or concerns.
nAssisting staff with maintaining accurate medication records, auditing MARS to accuracy of documentation, ensuring that medications are in the community, ensuring that new order have medications ordered and in the community within a reason amount of time, ensuring that physician orders match the MARS and any missed/refusals are monitored and physician is notified. Maintaining labs, taking telephone orders, ensuring follow for labs or change in condition is being processed in a timely manner.
nManaging staff ensuring that care is being provided in a timely manner. Any new issues or concerns are being documented and communicated to the physician.
nEnsuring that the charts are accurate, orders are in place, resident information is updated, resident has routine physician visits, labs and checks are done annually or done with change of condition.
nAssist with wound care, treatments, IV’s, managing acute and chronic issues, admitting last minute patients to skilling nursing, calculating medications, proper documentation to ensure that proper communication between shifts.
