ITERNSHIP PROJECTS
Setup private cloud using Icehouse OpenStack
Created a private Cloud infrastructure using Icehouse OpenStack environment by setting up Ubuntu Linux virtual machines on KVM hypervisor where company can deploy their Saisei Traffic Manager product (Saisei FlowCommand). Configured OpenStack with Two-node architecture (Controller node and Combine Compute-Network node) and installed all required OpenStack services like Keystone, Glance, Cinder, Nova, Neutron and Horizon.
Saisei NPE FlowCommand App for HP SDN App Store
Developed Saisei NPE FlowCommand App using Java, and REST API. Validated JSON output using RSDoc (REST API documentation) by deploying module jars on HP VAN SDN controller’s platform. Setup build prerequisites - JDK, Apache Maven, cURL and HP VAN Controller SDK on Ubuntu 13.10. Configured networking using two HP Open Flow switches.

ACADEMIC PROJECTS
Book Management System
Developed a web application using Google App Engine (GAE) services to manage book catalog. It was created using Java, Datastore API, Memcache API, Servlet, JSP, JavaScript, CSS and ‘appspot.com’ domain to upload it on Google space.

Email Application
Developed an email application that can send, retrieve and delete emails using EJB session bean, JSF, XHTML, CSS, Apache James and Glassfish web server.
British to Metric SOAP web service
Created a Web service using EJB session bean that performs British to Metric conversion. Implemented Facelets and AJAX in the XHTML file to access a managed bean that generates a SOAP message to access endpoint of the Web service.
Linux kernel, system call and device driver development
Compiled and installed Linux kernel 3.2 and modified grub boot loader to boot it. Implemented a system call and device driver. Implemented multiple-threaded program in C that implements a CPU scheduler with mutex and semaphore.
Bank ATM application
A Client/Server application of bank ATM system where server reads the data and perform operations such as deposit, withdraw and balance inquiry. Developed it in multiple ways: TCP sockets in Java and RPC in C UNIX.
