Project Details: MONITORING & CONTROLLING OF AGRICULTURE FIELD ENVIRONMENT.

Hardware : Pic 18F452 microcontroller.

Software IDE : Embedded C in MP LABX, PROTETUS.

Sensors & Interfaces : LCD, SENSORS (LM 35, Soil, Light & Humidity), MOTOR.

Role : Team Leader.

Description:

The advanced development in sensor technology can be used in monitoring and controlling the various parameters in the agricultural field. Due to uneven natural distribution of rain water it is very difficult for farmers for monitoring and controlling the distortion of water to agriculture fields in the whole farm or as per the requirement of the crop. There are no ideal irrigation methods for all weather conditions, soil structure and variety of crop cultures. The main theme of the project is to check the soil moisture i.e., soil is wet or dry. If it is dry, the pumping motor will automatically pumps the water through relay switch and also control the temperature, humidity & light parameters.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1.Using C, we developed LCD, DC motor controlling with relays with the help of sensors.

2.As a team lead, I worked out on project main block diagram, designing of flowcharts, relative algorithms & other testing documentation.

3.Coordinating the project review with team members & Test plan preparations based on user requirements. Integrating and bug fixing.
