OBJECTIVE

EXPERIENCE SUMMARY

Twenty plus years’ experience in the LNG, petrochemical, cogeneration and offshore platform industry working as an electrical designer/drafter producing drawings utilizing Smart Plant 3D, Microstation, AutoCAD, PDS, Orthogen and Smart Sketch. CAD coordinator/support for the electrical design team of 36 designers and 33 engineers at project peak utilizing Smart Plant 3D. Maintained all electrical data in SP3D including folder structure hierarchy, monitoring all electrical model components and ensuring that the electrical components are modeled and placed in the appropriate folders. Solely responsible for handling clashes, interferences, model tags, etc. for the electrical group. Ran MTO reports, center of gravity and other reports for project team. Working in PDS EE Raceway to run/annotate simple conduit, duct bank and cable tray. Created 2D files via Drawing Manager section cuts and Orthogen hidden line/spot scale. Continue to be point of contact for assistance with various problems from designers/engineers throughout the company utilizing Smart Plant 3D, Microstation and Smart Plant. Proficient in Microsoft Office 2003 Word, Excel, Access, Power Point, InfoWorks and Project Wise v8i. Working knowledge in Microsoft Project and Visio.

Created as-built drawings utilizing Microstation v8

Escondido Water Supply(Chile)-Sea Water Desalination Plant, 4 Pump Stations, 115km high voltage transmission lines, seven substations

Modeled cable tray and transformers in SP3D

Created/Revised drawings in Project wise/Microstation v8i

Responsible for coordinating drawing signatures and issuing drawings between Houston and Santiago, Chile office.

Wheatstone LNG EPC(Asburton North, Western Australia)-Two trains (8.9 mtpa) and DomGas (On project from study to EPC – over 6 years)

CADD Coordinator - Supported 36 plus designers throughout project phases from various option studies, FEED to EPC

Set up all designers with access to the projects’ Smart Plant 3D model including teaching how to model in Smart Plant 3D, modeling cable trays, segmenting and sequencing cable trays, modeling junction boxes, hand switches, space volumes, transformers and extracting drawings to Smart Sketch for conversion to Microstation.

Created/modeled 4 different transformer sizes in Smart Plant 3D

Set-up the customized Chevron Microstation environment for all designers and some engineers

Created cell libraries for electrical drawings

Set up over 33 engineers with Smart Plant Review and taught them how to utilize SPR (the model was so large the SPR session files were split into 15 different sessions)

Worked with engineers to create one line diagrams during studies, FEED and beginning of EPC Phase
