My enclosed resume provides you with an overview of my experience. My career starts in the foundry industry supplying parts to the heavy trucking industry as Supervisor and Production Superintendent. The last 14 years I have been a Quality Manager in the manufacturing and fabrication of steel welded tubing and small steel stampings for the automotive industry. I was the Technical Manager for the Laboratory Accreditation. In this position I insured the calibration program was maintained and kept updated. Advised and directed all departments on compliance with the company’s quality assurance programs and interfaced directly with the customers on quality assurance issues and concerns. Utilized several different types of corrective action process’s such as 5-Why, A-3 and the 8-D format. As the Lead Auditor I help develop all audits and maintained the audit schedule. Acted as the Management Representative and led the ISO 9001:2008 certification efforts on all audits. The last two years work at Takumi Stamping which was a Japanese factory and lean manufacturing was the foundation of their business philosophy.
