Project Title:
Hidden Secrets in Multi-Spectral Image using Steganography & Cryptography Apr 2013-Dec 2013
Project Description:
The project is to provide high level of security for transfer of secret messages. At the same time, it involves transfer of high volume of messages/images using Steganography and Cryptology. Our application first encrypts the secret data and then hides the encrypted data within another data. The images are encrypted in .bmp or .jpg formats. Decryption was done based on some password or decrypt key and it protects the document from intruders while sharing files.
Responsibilities:
Analyze the system requirements and prepare test plan
Creation of test cases and planning test execution sessions
Understand the technical implementation of the project, so as to gain knowledge for any specialized testing requirement using Steganography and Cryptology
Was engaged in unit testing the data transfer server
Used SQL to verify the data populated in database
Perform End-To-End testing
Performed functional testing to check how messages are hidden behind the image

Project description:
Peer-to-peer is a communications model in which each party has the same capabilities and either party can initiate a communication session. In recent usage, peer-to-peer has come to describe applications in which users can use the internet to exchange files with each other directly. Users can choose how many member connections to seek at one time and determine which files they wish to share or password protect.
