Experience:
June 2015-Dec.2015 – Administor for Rosewood Care Center STL. Oversee the daily operations of 120 Bed Skilled Nursing Facility. This position is responsible for planning, directing and coordinating the overall operation of the facility to comply with local, state, and federal guidelines, increasing and maintaining facility census, developing and maintaining employee relations, ensuring the delivery of quality care and services, and achieving business development goals. In the time spent at Rosewood the facility went from a 1 Star Rating to a 3 Star Rating.
1987-2002-Owned and operated Maehill Care Center, Inc. My company did all construction of the facility as well as ran the day to day operation of the Nursing Home. Employed 100 full time employees for over 15 yrs. I was the CEO of the entity that operated the facility for day to day operations. I did all the hiring and firing as well as the oversight of Dietary, Laundry, Housekeeping, Social Services, I took care of A/P, A/R and all Medical Services that were provided by the facility
2003-2013 – Business Consultant for several different types of business including healthcare facilities of many types. A major part of my business is focusing on marketing although I do all kinds of consulting for all sizes of businesses.
2009-2012 – Business Consultant for a chain of hospitals. I focused on marketing as well as overall profitability of facilities.
1999-2003-Owned and operated Overhead Door of Farmington. Employed 10 full-time employees for a commercial overhead door co. installing large commercial and industrial doors of various types. We were responsible for new installation and maint. of commercial doors in Wal-Mart and Lowes stores in a very large area in MO. I sold this business in 2003
1999-2003-Owned and operated a couple small electronic retail distributorships. We supplied all types of commercial and industrial electronic components primarily to construction jobs. I sold this business in 2003.
1990-2013- Owned and operated a Construction Co. developing both residential and commercial developments. I built large custom homes and most of my time spent building strip malls. Land development was a major part of my business. I also ran all the construction of both Nursing Homes and RCF facilities.
My Family:
Married to Kristie Gray for 20 yrs. Kristie is a counselor for Potosi School System. We have 1 daughter, Emilie 17 yrs. old. Emilie is a High Honor Student at Potosi High. School. She is also a survivor of an extremely rare tumor that was removed from the base of her heart. Only 4 other kids have survived this type of removal. She is completely healthy and normal 17 yr. old girl. To say we’re proud of her is an understatement.
We attend Potosi Southern Baptist Church where we’re active in many areas of the church. I hold multiple board positions for the Church. I’ve served on the Trustee Board for many yrs. I also serve on the Security Committee and was on the board that did the initial setup of that committee. Presently, I am the Chairman of the Mabel Lucas Memorial Trust Fund. I oversee the use of a very large Trust Fund and its implementation.
My Family has a very long history in the nursing home business. My Grandfather built one of the first organized nursing homes in the State of MO in 1957. My father continued that tradition through 1987 until I took over the operations. I’m very proud of the contributions my family has made to the nursing home industry.

I hold a private pilot’s license. I started flying in 1989 with a large portion of my flying hours at night.
I owned a World of Outlaws Race Team from 1990-2000 winning several titles across the US.
I hold a Black Belt in Taekwondo. UKA Karate Champion in both Kata and Fighting for the years 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009.
For 10 yrs. I raised and showed World Champion Reining Horses competing all over the South and Midwest.
