Career in civil life i.e. after taking voluntary retirement from the Army (appointment highlighted):

From Mar ‘04 to Feb ’05, worked as a Senior Teaching Faculty Member and Chief Resident Warden at Ansal Institute of Technology, Gurgaon (Haryana)-122003. Taught Maths and management subjects.

From Mar ’05 to Feb ’07 as C.E.O. cum Principal of Royal International School (co-educational, day boarding and residential, CBSE affiliated till secondary level) at Itanagar (Arunachal Pradesh). Taught Maths and Physics to grade X student.

From Feb ’07 to Oct ’08 as Principal of Kaziranga English Academy (co-educational, fully residential, CBSE affiliated till Sr. Secondary level) at Guwahati (Assam). Taught Math to class XI.

From Oct ’08 to Apr ‘13 as Principal of ALPINE PUBLIC SCHOOL, BANGALORE – 62; (co-educational, day school (CBSE). Taught Maths & Physics to class X.

Joined Indian Military Academy (IMA), Dehra Dun from Jan ’08 to Dec ’08; and became Commissioned Officer on 16th Dec ’08 as 2nd Lieutenant in the Corps of Signals.

From Dec ‘78 to Jan ’90, as a Captain, served in Mizoram, Lower Assam, and Tripura.

From Feb ‘90 to Mar ’95, as a Major, as Operations Manager of a Mainframe Computer at Army Headquarters Computer Centre, New Delhi & as Communication Officer in Leh & Ladakh.

From Apr ‘95 to Jan ’97, worked (Major) as a Teaching Faculty Member at MCTE, Mhow (MP); and as System Manager (Operations) in the Faculty of Computers & Systems.
