Responsibility: - Network Planning & Design of over 120 Network nodes (Juniper routers, Cisco routers, Juniper firewalls, Ericsson routers and Extreme switches)
- Africa MPLS, Enterprise Network and Service Providers (Google, BICS, IXPN, ISP) Management.
- Responsible for 3PP, PCN VAS integration (e.g. Fortinet anti-spam, Google cache engines etc.), Vendor NOC and IT related (shops and Call Center) integration into MPBN network.

-Responsible for supporting the data centers and IP network project as per the network design and plan through the vendors and managed service partners.
-Implement the physical interconnects and other operators and ISP’s for voice/data and for the local office internet traffic.
- Perform the network acceptance testing before the handover to the network operations team.
-Designed and implemented connectivity between Lagos Data centre and Ibadan Data centre in such a way that IPSEC VPN is used as alternate path, when the MPLS L2VPN direct link is down.
-Implemented MP-BGP Inter AS connectivity from Lagos POP to London POP, by using VPNV4 peering.
- Optimization of the IP network design, defining and implementing variations and give feedback and provide support to the network architects on the same.
- Capacity planning between Intra-City, Inter-City and Upstream connectivity.
-Responsible for implementing VPN from Lagos DC to Interconnect Clearinghouse Nigeria DC on a Juniper device to a Cisco Device for Voice and mobile number portability testing.
- Transfer of technical skills and perform training to operations team on IP technology, Smile methods and processes.
- Assist the CTO/Head of Networks with local contracts and interconnect agreements.
