ORGANISATIONAL SCAN

Al Adan Hospital is one of the largest general governmental hospitals in Kuwait (900 bed capacity) providing medical health services to over 1,000,000 populations. The Anaesthesia department is one of the main departments in the hospital with main operating theatre (9 operating rooms), labour room operating theatre, causality operating theatre, mixed ICU with 40 beds. I supervise average 25 surgeries every working day (apart from duty on-call time).

Notable Milestones
Successful implementation of regional anaesthesia policy regarding obstetric population (epidural analgesia for labour, neuraxial anaesthesia for caesarean section).
I did a protocol for epidural analgesia for labour which was approved by council of anaesthesia in Kuwait.
Successfully performed over than 3000 epidural analgesia for parturient, we started from rate of zero 8 years ago and now we reach a rate of 35%.
Distinction of being a consultant Anaesthesia, called on every 3th day.
Holds the merit of being acting as Consultant at the time being.
Gained strong expertise in management of critical cases like septic shock, leaking abdominal aortic aneurysm, ischemic heart disease, cardiomyopathy patients…etc.
