Work Experience*

Donatelle Plastics Quality Technician

July 2010 - October 2013

- I began at this employer with microscope deburring and progressed into a lead position very quickly. My duties included inspecting the the work of my employees. to make certain there were no mistakes before we moved them to three quality lab. I was also responsible for training new employees on standard operating procedures. Not long after I started my position as department lead, multitasking was just a part of my everyday life. I was promoted to work in the quality lab as a Quality Technician within 8 months. I was responsible for checking to make sure the components were within tolerances. I would check the work order and make sure everything was filled out correctly and quantities matched. I would enter work orders into the computer and move them to a different department. Printing out rework orders and labeling was also a large part of my duties. Documented all of the rework orders and sent them back to machining if it were a machining rework responsibility.

Boston Scientific Assembly Tech

August 2009 - March 2010

- I started my position here loading medical components into machines for a start to finish catheter assembly. I was often put at an inspection station. I was told I pay attention to detail well and that's why I was mostly at those stations. I followed standard operating procedures to fulfill my duties. I would always check and and double check my parts to make sure they were within the specs of the work order. When overtime was available I was also training on the material handling aspect of the company.

Caltronics Solder Technician

August 2008 - March 2009

- I started my position pouring polyurethane over circuit boards and quickly transitioned into soldering components on to the board per blueprint. I would test finished products and troubleshoot if the parts did not work correctly. I was responsible for making the job travellers for all of the work orders and that the correct blueprints were being used. I would also have to retrieve the components from inventory and document all of the used components.

Education*

High School diploma

Spring Lake Park H.S. Class of 2007

- In my junior and senior years I had a lot of extra curricular responsibilities. I was a peer counselor for the treatment center, New Connections, we had on site. I would tutor and talk to the students who attended and try and get them to realize their self worth. I helped them find different ways to learn their subjects so they didn't get so discouraged and quit. I was someone they could talk to without being judged. I believe in giving chances to people so you can see their capabilities and true selves.

- I was also a teachers aide. I would stay after school for about 4 hours a day and help 3 of my teachers organize their classrooms and file all of their paperwork. I had entered all of the test scores and homework scores into the computer for them so they could plan the next days lesson. I continued volunteering with these programs until the summer of 2008 when I had relocated a significant distance from the high school.

- I graduated with a 3.6 GPA. I graduated early and top 10 of my class of 1,136 students. I have not had a chance nor the want to go back and get a degree. I love to learn new things and as of right now I don't know what I would want to major in. I have so many different interests that I don't have the time to do them all. I am waiting just a little while longer until I can feel confident in a decision for a career.
