Project Title : “OPTIMAZTION AND RE-DESIGN OF

PIEZO-POLYMER STRETCHING

MACHINE

Project Description : Polymer stretching machine, designed and

manufactured by NAL, PVDF stands for

POLYVINYLIDENE FLUORIDE. stretch a

piezoelectric PVDF strip upto four times the

initial length. . Our idea is to do a step-by-step

systematic study and analyze the mechanisms

and physical properties of all the parts of the

machine

RESULTS : The problems related to the piezo-polymer stretching machine is rectified and the machine test run is successful. The PVDF films are now able to be stretched upto 4 times its initial length.

EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING (INTERNSHIP PROGRAM):

ASHOK LEYLAND(Chennai): In plant training for 5 days in ashok Leyland.

The impact that I made: I worked in production department where caches of buses are assembled, there are 16 stages, and I worked at almost every stage and assembled engine gear box assembly, stearing assembly, frame assembly, etc.

What I learnt/Skills I picked up: I got a lot of pratical experience, to be precise, I got the knowledge of parts used in assembly, the design pattern, the lubrication system, engine system and lastly, a confidence I can also do it..

Automotive Course from GD Naidu (Certified Training):Had a good experience of 12 days Learnt about automobile parts and working mechanism of engines and many more things etc..
