Title: Sustainability in Housing (A case of the Urban poor):

Sub Title: In – situ redevelopment of Suryateja Nagar Slum, Vishakapatnam

Designed a 3.8 acre slum, incorporating design principles w.r.to natural, physical and social domains; proposals, cost – effective construction technologies, cost estimation, principles of local tradition and Architecture.

Defined Sustainability and evaluated parameters under each component of Sustainability (i.e., Economic, Social and Environmental) w.r.to the context of Urban poor (site specific).

TRAINING

Completed short term course on Quality Improvement Programme on ‘Teaching Technologies and Office management’ held in June 2010 at SPA, JNAFAU.
