PROJECT WORK:

Title : Design of Flexible Pavement

In my final year project, I got an opportunity to study the extension National Highway-5 from 4 lane to 6 lane, which is from Chilakaluripet to Kavali. I was exposed to modern construction methods and management and the use of modern equipments. I could see the use of concrete batching plant (which is seldom used in India), Rollers and different compaction techniques on the site. For the first time, I learnt how quality control of materials is carried out to ensure safe and efficient construction, or the steps taken to improve ground stability. This project gave me an insight in how much development has taken place in civil engineering.

Title : Design of villas:

In my final year project, I got an opportunity to study the 124 villas in

Gayatri projects ltd at Bangalore. I was exposed to modern construction methods and

management and the use of modern equipments. I could see the use of concrete batching

site. For the first time, I learnt how quality control of materials is carried out to ensure safe
