Currently working in Northern Trust as a Financial Analyst from October 2013.

Job Responsibilities –

Accounting, calculating, reconciling, managing, updating and delivering to the client the most accurate portfolio accounting information relating to the assets (stock & cash) held and managed by Northern Trust.

To deliver the accurate accounting information to the client on a periodic basis in the form of monthly, quarterly, semi-annually and annual statements, and also “as and when required” basis via online, email, hard copy statements, or CDs.

Research and resolve the frequently asked queries from the client administration. Work with internal and external partners to deliver the best available information in the form of reports to the clients on daily and periodic basis.

Audit, reconcile, maintain, and deliver performance data in the form of reports and statements also known as PACE (Performance Analysis Calculation Engine) reports to the subscribed clients.

Analyzing the ROR (Rate of Return) on the various securities and correcting and reporting skewed RORs, if any by using various benchmarks (S&P and Moody’s) and researching the web as well as the company’s internal resources for ROR discrepancy such as Market value discrepancy, shares discrepancy and accruals issues.

Providing Technical expertise for a new or complex accounting issues relating to Corporate Actions, Wire Transfers, Holdings, transactions, Trade processing, Rate of Returns and Cost reconciliation etc.

Interacting with various operation areas within the bank to oversee and research processing problems or resolve client inquires and improve processes.

Helping new clients during transition process from prior custodian to northern trust and to ensure they have smooth flow in NT.
