Worked for Apollo Hospital Educational and Research Foundation (AHERF) for four years
November 2012 (between 8th to 10th), attended the Scientific Symposium, a shared program of CINRG with a State of the Science on Outcomes sponsored by the National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research (NIDRR) and CINRG membership meeting at Virginia, Arlington, USA.
Trained on the ongoing CINRG study, UC Davis Natural History Study - A Longitudinal study of the relationship between Impairment, Activity limitation, Participation and Quality of life of persons with confirmed Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy with Dr. V. Viswanathan, Consultant Paediatric Neurologist at Apollo Children’s Hospital, as Principal Investigator
My contribution in this study included assessment and documentation of anthropometric measurements, Functional tests, Pulmonary function tests, Quantitative muscle tests and home programme formulation for children with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy and coordinating with the study personnel and documentation the patient’s data on clinical trial software, Open Clinica.
Communication with study personnel at India site as well as CINRG personnel, USA regarding the functions and activities related to Clinical Evaluator.
Trained by AHERF for Good Clinical Practices and Human Subject Training on regular basis.
PHYSIOTHERAPY SKILLS:
Experience in Paediatric Physical therapy in both acute care as well as tertiary rehabilitation care settings.
