EDI Data Analyst – Nov 2014 – Present

The Project involved in working on “Affordable Healthcare Act” 1095A project for CMS customers. Federally Facilitated Marketplace, (FFM) is set up for customers of CMS where they can enroll/Cancel, make changes, dispute the policy start/Termination date, Monthly ATPC, Premiums paid and any other issues related to their 2014 coverage period. Collaborated with various teams as an SME for the entire project with Analysis, QA, Peer Review, Issues and Mentoring. Involved in successfully implementation of the initial Pilot for the 1st Year of Affordable Health care act after it was mandated by the Government in March 2010. Also worked on similar small-scale projects like “Issuer Orphans” Issuer Disputes.

Lead the team of 20 People on the Project guiding them on the 1095 A Issues, Clarification, clearing of the cases,

Review work for quality correct analysis and proper determination of case.

Provide individual training sessions to analysts’ still needing assistance/Mentoring

Train members on case analysis and work flow procedure through group presentations and one-on-one sessions.

Set expectations on workflow, detail of work, case classification and daily throughput.

Monitor work progress and adherence to project directives.

Performed quality reviews of team’s work.

Communicate new guidelines and directives from project directors. Point of contact for analysis questions regarding analysis, workflow and complex situations.

Directed the team and resolved the FFM consumer real times issues for the 1095 for the year 2014.

Issuer related to Policy Start/End date, Monthly ATPC, Annual Premium that the consumer paid, Issues related to Address change and Issuer name changes.

Part of the Process improvement team as this was the initial Pilot that was launched, resulted in opening a new office in Nashville TN,

Part of team resolving the Issuer Disputes, Issuer Orphans cases, when the Members fall through the 834 process and are not enrolled in the Marketplace, Issuer send those members through the Issuer Orphan file.

QA Team/Review Cases

AS a LEAD QA did verification on the cases and guided the entire team on the process and the correction before the issues were resolved.

Resolved and Issuer for the customers and the entire team, including real time changes of changes on policy.

Conducted peer design and code reviews and extensive documentation of standards, best practices, and ETL procedures.
