Mainly involved in the generation and use of computer models and simulations for a variety of aircraft projects and ultimately had sole responsibility for this function. Additionally, developed and tested a suite of Parameter Identification (PID) tools for the analysis of Flight Test data.

Member of the AVRO team investigating the impact of Fly-By-Wire technology on regional jet airliner flying qualities. Involved in preliminary design trade studies, before leading a team responsible for the design and pilot evaluation of several Control Law strategies. In conjunction with this, acted as industrial supervisor to two Ph.D. students at Cranfield University and was a member of a GARTEUR group investigating Robust Flight Control Techniques.
