WORK EXPERIENCE:

Honeywell-( CMI-Contract Engineer) Global Repair and Development Engineer-Avionics. 07-20-15 to present. Participated as a technical lead with responsibility for repair process improvement. Focused on repaired product quality and delivery improvements in site operations and with simultaneous engagement on multiple projects to reduce risk of poor quality, late delivery to customers, and process variation throughout the repair process. Identified, planned, deployed, and monitored product and process improvements to eliminate quality defects and improve delivery performance to the customer.

Boeing Test and Evaluation, Metrology Solutions Engineer - 08-10-12 to 12-12-2014.As a Solutions Engineer, I am proficient at CATIA V5, and hold a Boeing Trade Secret 13-021. I support Flight Test and other Boeing programs as an Acceleration and Acoustics Engineer, performing calibration and certification program D0-160 testing as well as designing and building 3D test fixtures used in Metrology. These include vibration & shock testing (using centrifuges), pressurized and vacuum altitude chamber testing, acceleration and thermal data recording using J and K Type Thermocouples and Thermal (temp) Probes, Humidity & environmental test chambers. Supported investigations of Parker Hannifin Hydraulic pumps for 737NG airplanes. Produced reports for Type Certificate and Supplemental Type Certificate Certification Programs per FAR Part 25.

Boeing Structures Instrumentation, Test Engineer (CTS Technical) - 05-31-10 to 12-31-11 Supported various test programs performing duties including but not limited to the operation of multi-channel data acquisition system using MTS AeroPro and LABVIEW, temperature control system, general instrumentation and documenting data acquisition processes for others to follow. Special emphasis on aircraft structural testing; especially composites testing, repair and modification.

*During this employment gap, I published an engine build book, “289 HiPo Build-up 40 Years Later”

Boeing Structures Instrumentation, Test Engineer (Comforce, Inc.) 04-11-08 to 03-31-09 Supported various test programs as a Structures Instrumentation Test Engineer in Seattle & Renton, WA and Wichita, KS on the US Navy P8A program. Performing duties including and not limited to the operation of MTS multi-channel data acquisition systems, MTS Aero 90 Controls system for hydraulics, MTS Load Abort System for hydraulic control, strain gage installations, which included axial 45 degree and bi-axial rosette gages on all aircraft structures. Additional duties performed were Instrumentation rack build-ups, hydraulic-computer interface control systems and Safety Lighting system design and build.

*During this employment gap, I operated a sole proprietorship- The Mustang Hospital in which I built custom race cars, Hot-Rods for private parties

Boeing Commercial Airplanes, Engineer (Volt Services, Inc.) - 02/06 to 05/07

Supported 737 Electrical Sub-Systems by designing, developing and maintaining LED External Lighting, Electrical Power Systems and 737NG New Blended-Winglet program as lead. Participant in the ITAR P-8A Poseidon electrical power system functional test.

Supported operations of the Instrumentation Data Systems to collect and record data for FAA Part 145 Repair Station-component overhaul, component overhaul and return to service certifications.

Aviation Partners/Boeing, Inc., Design Engineer (PDS Flight Test) - 05/99 - 04/04

Lead of the Flight Test Instrumentation Systems division. Developed Flight Test Instrumentation Systems and participated as member of the flight test crew for Hawker800 winglet program; FAA Coordination and Test Report writing per FARs Part 25 utilizing Program-Specific Certification Plan Requirements of FAA for an STC (Supplemental Type Certificate). - Blended Winglet aircraft installations and certification.

Aviation Partners, Inc., Instrumentation and Flight Test Engineer - 02/99 to 05/99 Worked on development of certification programs for the 747-200 and 737-300 Blended Winglet programs which included Blended Winglet installations and certifications on an two separate Supplemental Type Certificates. (This winglet is now standard equipment on all 737 NG airplanes).

Performed design, installation and checkout Airborne Data Acquisition Systems for Flight Test Analysis at The Boeing Commercial Airplane Group-Everett, Renton and Seattle Washington (KBFI)/ 737NG/ 757. Worked with 737/57 group remote customer service utilizing Portable Airborne Data Acquisition and Monitoring System and ADAMS- based Instrumentation system. Responsibilities include Console Build-up, Flight Test Instrumentation installations, Check-out, Pre-Flights and Flight Test Engineering Crew member flying 757-200 and 737NG Certification Programs.

DE-5 B-G1HU Designed Functional Schematics for the 777 Proximity Sensing System and co-coordinated the Preliminary Design Reviews with our vendor ELDEC.

Coordinated the writing of the Functional Test Document for the 777 PSS as

well as schematic and wiring diagram development using CADDS.
