Job Scope:
• Perform shop and site inspection
• Support and conduct NDE activities such as MT, PT, RT
NDT Qualifications: Level II on PT, MT and VT as per ASNT-TC-1A
Level II on RT and UT as per ISO-9712
Specific Task
• Review customer technical specification and determine inspection and test requirements and applicable codes and standards.
• Cooperatively prepare the process Control List (PCL) with operations department and indicates inspection/hold points and requirement for inspection and test records
• Perform fabrication drawing review prior to conducting inspection and test to determine acceptance criteria and allowable tolerances.
• Review of Mill Test Reports, Purchase Order Specification, Purchase Order and related design documents prior to conducting receiving inspection (physical check) of materials and products.
• Conduct in-process inspection and verify specific requirements for inspection in accordance with contract specification and inspection procedure standard.
• Conduct source inspection on sub-contracted products.
• Review post weld heat treatment (PWHT) charts.
• Witnesses hydrostatic testing and check for possible leakages.
• Conduct final inspection of the product prior to shipment to determine whether all requirements for inspections and testing have been addressed.
• Prepare inspection and test records in accordance with the result of the inspection and testing.
• Issue Nonconformance Report for product that did not meet the requirements of the contract specification and drawings.
