2010 - Present Electronics Technician, Noble Drilling – Brazil Responsible for maintenance and repair of electronic control, automation, instrumentation, communications/computer network, and various support systems on board a semi-submersible drilling rig, ensuring optimum performance and minimal downtime. I ensure all necessary critical spares are on hand and assist all departments as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor to support ongoing operations.

2006 - 2010 Instrumentation Technician, Canrig Drilling Ltd. Responsible for installation and servicing of drilling rig instrumentation and communication equipment. Troubleshooting, repair and support of supplied electrical and instrumentation hardware in the field. Trained rig crews and other customers in the use of systems.

2003 - 2006 Fiber Optics- Network Technician, Level 3 Communications Responsible for fiber optic long haul trunk lines, and transmission systems. Test and turn up of T1, DS3 and OC 12-192 circuits. Splicing and testing fiber optic cables, troubleshooting network devices and services.

1999 - 2003 Telecom Technician, CDI Telecom Installation and Repair of Telephone, Internet and Cable for Residential and small businesses. Pulling and routing CAT 5 cable installing racks and patch panels in a new construction commercial environments.

1993 - 1999 Electronics Technician, US NAVY Gained experience maintaining communication and navigation equipment such as HF, UHF, and VHF radios. I worked with Sat-Com, emergency radios, encryption devices RADAR and avionics navigational aids.
