My name is Kenneth R. Abegglen, and you will quickly realize that I am not the typical candidate which ends up in your inbox. My most recent experience includes a contract position at the Missouri Department of Social Services, so I have worked in an office setting (clerical). There, I have done some data entry, document scanning, alpha-sorting and filing. In short I wore many hats there, and did so over a period of about 20 months. Since my earlier employment at MEMC, I had been working toward my Bachelors’ of Science Degree in Accounting with a minor in International Business. I graduated from the University of Missouri at St. Louis, May 19, 2013 with honors (cum laude) and finished with a GPA of 3.40.

I am seeking entry level accounting positions capitalizing on my education and interests. I also may seek administrative or clerical options with an eye toward improving my situation over the longer term.

Given my experience, I want to move onto administrative positions in my chosen profession. I have some familiarity with Excel. The good news is that I am good with numbers, and generally am a fast learner. So any opportunity I may have, I’ll work hard to try to get up to speed (even regarding improving my use of Excel). I have worked in team environments and empowered work groups so I have experience working in a collaborative setting. I get along well with most people, and am achievement-oriented.
