Description

Tourism is considered as a most profitable industry in today's era, because it provides the opportunity to the people to earn chunk of money. Whenever a person opens a particular site, in order to attain information about a particular tourism spot, then the website always shows the same data to different number of people i.e. the content remains the same. Searching for a particular place provides the people huge amount of information which is generally waste of time.

In this project a Recommendation System is a personalization tool that offers users with a list of items that best fit their individual taste. Two algorithms on recommendation system; one is based on historical data (registered user) and second is based on time scheduling. Time Scheduling has very relevant feature that most recommendation system lacks. In Time Scheduling recommendation system we are using totally different concept, in which recommendation system will schedule all the activities of the users.

This provides the real agenda of activities which not only shows the user preferences but also provides the whole schedule which includes how and when to perform activities.

PROJECT DETAILS

Project Title: CAMA (Computer Aided Mass Appraisal)

Client: Jefferson County, Orange County & Autauga County – Govt. USA.

Environment: SQL Server 2005, ASP.Net, C# and Visual Studio 2010.

Description: Capture CAMA is a system solution used to increase the efficiency of the appraisal, assessment, collections, and mapping processes. This is a system which is used by local government of County to maintain and update all tax related information of its residents.

It involves migrating old data of County to New database tables. (Portability from different databases).

Roles & Responsibilities

Understanding requirements.

Involved in Functional, Retesting, Regression, Usability and Compatibility testing.

Defect Tracking.

Giving mandatory information of a defect to developers in order to fix it.

Follow daily scrum meetings and agile process.

Carry out regression testing every time when changes are made to the code to fix defects.

Perform compatibility testing across browsers (IE, Firefox, and Chrome).
