1. DESIGN OF EARTHQUAKE RESISTANT STEEL STRUCTURE (2016/M.TECH project)
Abstract: This is the on-going master degree project which is currently under progress. Following are the future works that are identified to carry out in this phase.

2. ANALYSIS AND DESIGN OF A MULTI STOREY (G+ 9) STEEL BUILDING (2015-M -Tech project)
Abstract: This project work is an attempt to study and design a symmetrical multi-storey steel building .The steel multi storey building has been designed as an office building of about 10 storeys. Here the steel building is analysed by substitute frame method for vertical loads and portal method for horizontal loads. The wind loads are calculated using IS-875 codal provisions.
Profiled steel sheeting have been adopted in the design of floor and roof slabs which serves two main functions i.e. while concreting (carries temporary loads + wet concrete) and serviceability .
This project also deals with the design of various steel members and their connections.
3. ENVIRONMENTAL AUDITING FOR A TANNERY UNIT (2013-B.Tech project)
Abstract: When disposing solid waste and waste water during the leather manufacturing process, there is an impact felt on the environment. This study attempts to find out the various factors that affect the environment and the health of the workers through an environmental audit process. Questionnaires were used to find out the perception of the workers on various topics like hazards, safety, machinery and housekeeping. Statistical analysis was done and the results were interpreted and presented in the study. Various recommendations for Solid Waste Management, Water Reuse and Chrome Recovery have also been brought out in this study.
4. GREY WATER RECYCLING SYSTEM FOR A RESIDENTIAL COMPLEX (2012-B.Tech project)
Abstract: Large amount of water is generated from domestic activities like bathing, dishwashing, hand washing and laundry which is untreated and let to mix with night soil. This project deals with such grey water and designed for recycling and reuse for various purposes like dish washing, gardening, and flushing toilet. The design process viz.

Screening
Slow sand filtration
Reverse osmosis
By this process of using grey water, saving of 61% is done and reused. The various units are designed, done and drafted using AUTOCAD software.
