Follow guide lines that I have learned in training and that I have received from on the job physicians, Do an on the spot assessment of the patient’s condition and determine the proper course of treatment, use backboards and restraints to immobilize the patient and secure them in an ambulance for transport, transported patients to the ER, healthcare facility and report my observations and first aid treatments to the taking over patient care staff. Create a Patient care report (PCR), documenting the medical care given to the patient on scene and en-route to the hospital, replace used supplies and check or clean equipment after use. Critical care calls: monitoring patient, working with nurse onboard and giving any medical interventions that were needed.
