Responsible for the design and development of “M.A.R.S.” – an automated reservation and resource allocation system. The system is a complex of multiple C# (.net) based management modules, ashx web handler, maintenance utilities, VOXEO IVR system, and backed by MS-SQLServer 2012. The purpose of the system is to allow customers to dial-in and create/manage reservations in an automated fashion, while giving management real-time visibility and control of the process. In addition to facilitating complete integration with the phone system, it further provides a robust management console (C#, Winforms) which allows live representatives to visualize and manage all resources; to monitor all phone activity in real-time; and to intelligently configure all manner of operating hours and resource availability. Furthermore the system provides a highly configurable complex rule-engine, which allows for the stipulation of reservation restrictions designed to maintain absolute client privacy.

Worked on front end of online trading application.
Responsible for the Newsware system. This system provides client firms with access to major news sources with customizable filtering to match trading needs.
There are three Newsware formats:
NewsWatch a sophisticated market intelligence tool designed to extract, display and provide alerts on events affecting the financial markets. (Written in VB6)
NewsWare.com a web-based (HTML, CSS, JavaScript and classic ASP) version of the NewsWatch application. (Wrote and maintained this application). Created json objects from the AJAX responses)
NewsWare API a News API tailored and designed to meet the high standards of the financial markets where milliseconds count. Available in many languages. ( wrote and maintained VB6 and java versions)
Responsible for maintenance, enhancements, and upgrades to the above systems

Did programming on the backend system, which is coded in C++ (Visual Studio) and SQL, running on a Windows server and using a SQL Server database.
Wrote and updated parsers to parse the vendor data headline, story body and tags. Parsers were coded in C++ (Visual Studio).
