Have worked under the following codes and standards: ASME Section IX (Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code), AWS D1.1 (Structural Welding Code), and ANSI/ASME B31.3 (Refinery Piping and Chemical Piping Code).

Am certified plate welder under AWS D1.1 on ” plate with E-6010 root and E-7018 remainder. All positions.

Am certified plate welder under AWS D1.1 on ” plate with backing strip with FCAW process using .045 wire. 2G and 3G positions.

Am certified pipe welder under ASME Section IX on 6” sch. 80 A53 Grade B pipe with E-6010 root and E-7018 remainder position.

Am certified pipe welder under ASME section IX on 6” sch. 80 A53 grade B pipe with GTAW root and E-7018 remainder 6 G position.

Am certified pipe welder under ASME section IX on 2” sch. 80 A53 grade B pipe with 308L stainless GTAW complete weld. 6 G limited access positions.

Have welded with the four major welding processes: SMAW, GTAW, FCAW and GMAW.

Have welded on the following base metals: A36 Grade B, A53 Grade B, A106 Grade B, 300 series stainless steel, 4043 series aluminum.

Have specified knowledge of all welding defects and discontinuities, their origin and the ability to repair them.

Have the ability to read and interpret radiographs to ASME section V.

Have the ability to read detailed isometric pipe drawing.

Have full knowledge of pipe take-offs mitering fittings to odd angels, layouts of laterals and saddles, offsets, rolling off sets, as well as any odd angel off sets.
