Reviews patient medical history, chart and consults with surgeon/physician to obtain patient information needed to setup HLM associated equipment.

Monitor vital signs to maintain physiological functions during open heart surgery.

Variety of clinical experiences involving routine and complex procedures on both adults and pediatrics.

Assistance for establishing cardiopulmonary bypass for the cases like

a.CABG, valve repair or replacement.

b.Repair of aortic aneurysm/dissection under DHCA and SACP/RCP.

c.Emergency open heart procedures for patients in dire straits having unstable angina, stuck valve, in failure of balloon angioplasty and implantation of stent and hemodynamically unstable patients.

d. Heart transplant, lung transplant, Heart & Lung transplant,

e.All congenital pediatric and neonatal defects and repair cases, like ASD, VSD, TOF.

f.Complex heart diseases like TGA, Arterial switch, DORV, Aortic arch interruption under deep hypothermia.

g.Totally endoscopic minimally invasive cardiac surgery under Einstein 3D vision (first workshop in south-east Asian) with VAVD using smart cannula.

h.Special procedures like conducting CPB for pregnancy patient, patient with heparin resistance using bivalirudin, pulmonary endarterectomy with ECMO support.

Myocardial protection techniques – Hypothermic blood cardioplegia, Crystalloid cardioplegia, Delnido cardioplegia, Fibrillatory arrest, Calafiore technique.

Hemofiltration technique – CUF, MUF, ZBUF, PUF.

Assisted venous drainage – VAVD, KAVD.
