Present, 2015

For whom this may concern,

Please accept this letter and attached resume as my application for a position with your company. I come to you with the desire to succeed at any task before me and I am confident that you will find me to be an excellent addition to your team.

I am a B Pressure red seal rig welder with many accomplishments at the age of 23. With completion of my high school diploma, journeyman welding red seal and B pressure certification, I have started my own business. I strive to be the best at what I do and enjoy succeeding in any task or challenge set upon me.

I am currently looking for a position either with my truck or by hand where I will be able to utilize my past skills and experience while learning through new opportunities. I value teamwork and positive feedback as well as always welcome criticism and ideas to improve upon processes. I am self-motivated and am always willing to put in the extra time and effort to see something to completion. I am also results driven and very organized. I thrive on being able to complete tasks and learn from what I have done.

Perhaps the most important thing to me on a job is safety. I feel that safety controls and procedures are nothing without the workforce dedicating itself towards an incident and accident free workplace.

I would like to thank you for reviewing my application and I look forward to speaking with you. Should you require further information regarding my background and skills, please contact me at your convenience.

Kind Regards,

Jared Runnels
