Current Solving Helmholtz Equation using Finite Element Method with Compressed Sensing Enhanced Methods, (MATLAB)

August 2014 Guide: Dr. Shobha Sundar Ram, IIIT Delhi In this research, we propose an alternative different approach for solving the Helmholtz equation with reduced memory requirements by incorporating compressed sensing (CS) techniques into the original FEM formulation. Our approach is based on the fundamental assumption that electromagnetic fields are continuous except at source locations and can be represented with sparse coefficients in alternate transform domains such as wavelets or DCT. We present different practical aspects of this approach with respect to one- dimensional FEM problems.

May-July 2014 Multivariate Statistical Analysis of 64Mb SRAM, (Eldo, MATLAB) Guide: Anuj Grover, STMicroelectronics

Write time analysis of 6T SRAM using Design of Experiment Approach. The yield of 99 per cent has been calculated for 64Mb chip. Simulated in Eldo and statically analyzed in Matlab.

Jan-April 2014 Smart Gardening System, (Arduino duemilanove, Embedded C) Guide:Dr. Alexander Fell, IIIT Delhi

Moisture sensor system has been used for sensing the water humidity. If it increases above a certain level then led blinks and it indicates increased level and we stops to provide watering to the plants.(Arduino, Verilog)

Jan-Apr 2014 Handwriting Recognition & Writer identification, (MATLAB) Guide:Dr. Angshul Majumdar, IIIT Delhi

Handwriting recognition is the ability to receive intelligible handwritten inputs from documents, photographs, touch screens and other devices. (MATLAB). Sep-Dec 2013 Flip Flop Design Using Clock Gating & SAR Implementation, (Cadence Virtuoso) Guide:Dr. Sujay Deb, IIIT Delhi

Different types of D-Flip flop are designed and clock gating is used to reduce power consumption. 7bit SAR is also implemented using clock gating. (Cadence Virtuoso) Sep-Dec 2013 Linearly Weighted Classifier, (LTSPICE) Guide:Dr. M.S. Hashmi, IIIT Delhi

A linearly weighted classifier is designed using current conveyors and core circuits for classifying non separable data.(Cadence Virtuoso)
