Course: Business Applications of Database Management Systems. In this course as a part of my project I created a database using ‘Microsoft SQL Server’ for a business of my friend. Project spanned throughout the semester in which I had to start from reading and interpreting customer’s business description, preparing entity relationship diagram and then finally creating a database which will answer useful business queries. Course: Enterprise Process Improvement.

As a part of curriculum I studied various SAP ERP modules like AI, WM, PP, HR etc. For the project I was given access to SAP server in which I owned a company by name of GBI Inc. (company produces bikes). Throughout the coursework I had to implement various SAP ERP modules in process for manufacturing bikes. Some of the key processes which I came across were preparing sales order, preparing bill of materials (BOM), creating purchase requisitions, preparing sales order etc. B.E Final Year (Efficient fuzzy type ahead search in XML data) In this project we implemented an efficient technique to search an XML database. In order to accomplish our goal we have used techniques like ‘Lowest Common Ancestor’ and ’Minimal Cost Tree’. In addition to searching we also implemented a technique to dynamically convert text document into a XML document. B.E Third Year (ATM Machine)

Frontend: Visual Basic

Backend: Oracle

In this project we designed and implemented some of the ATM transactions like cash withdrawal, cash deposit, account updating, generation receipt and balance enquiry. Visual Basic was used to create the basic GUI of our machine and at the backend, oracle database was used to maintain customer accounts.
