WORK EXPERIENCE:

Fluid Power Institute, MSOE, Milwaukee, WI May 2014 Present

Graduate Research Assistant

As a graduate research assistant at the Fluid Power Institute I have been directly involved in conducting research projects for mobile and industrial hydraulic applications. Some of the projects that I have headed up include variable displacement pump efficiency, valve manifold contamination sensitivity and electrostatic dissipative filter media testing.

Research Emphasis :

Testing and analysis of advanced hydraulic systems

Efficiency studies for advanced energy efficient fluids and systems

Leakage flow model development for hydraulic systems

Contamination analysis for hydraulic components

Tribological analysis of fluids and lubricants on efficiency

China Nonferrous Metals Processing Technology Co.,Ltd June 2013 August 2013

Engineering Intern

As an engineering intern in a firm engineering design a wide range of nonferrous metals fabrication plant, I worked in a cross-disciplinary team which successfully executed a design project. Calculated the heat transform, production capacity and draw the layout for a 28000 plant.

Xi’an Jiao Tong University January 2012 June 2012

Student Assistant

As a student assistant, I worked independently to finish the efficiency test for a small compressor. Designed the test bench, manufactured 4 spacers and 3 flanges, assembled, tested and analyzed the compressor.
