NJIT (New Jersey Institute of Technology) 2015
Lean Six Sigma Project
Data Analyst
•Used the DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control) Lean Six Sigma methodology to improve productivity in the Holland Township New Jersey School solar energy system.
•The down time of the system inverters reach 25% in June 2015. After analyzing the collected data I found there are 2 problem. One problem was some of the inverters cannot start up in the morning due to software problem, the second one was bad connections from some solar panels to the inverters.
• The system productivity reach the 100% of normal productivity after upgrade the software and replace the bad connectors.
•I recommended a database log system for all the activity in the system (productivity, preventive maintenance, Error, Repair, Improvement). This will help in the future improvement and troubleshooting problems.
Crestron, Cresskill, NJ (2008 – 2015)
