3.Manage the permitting of all aspects of the project and where necessary assist with Land acquisition activities;

4.Monitor progress and assists Service Consultants in the implementation of field environmental programs (such as Information, Education, Communication Campaign, Social Development Program and among others);

5.Prepare work schedule and ensure that activities are conducted within the indicated timeframe.

6.Conduct regular site inspection on the proposed project site.

7.Collects, complies and analyze environmental and field data.

8.Prepare and submits regulatory reports to Environmental Management Bureau Central and Region II Office.

9.Manage environmental permitting, regulatory strategy development, environmental field surveys, and pre-construction compliance for the proposed Iguig Coal Mining Development and Production project and 100MW Coal Power Plant project.

10.Close coordination with the Community Relations Office, DENR-EMB representatives, local government units and other stakeholders of the project.

11.Regular reporting on status update to the Head of Business Development and Special Projects Department.

12.Performs and handle other matters of environmental concerns.

1.Oversee and handles all Energy World Group local and international projects concerning environmental matters;

2.Supervise and work closely with each project assigned Environmental Officer.

3.Collects, compiles and analyze environmental and field data and documents for all Energy World Group local and international projects;

4.Formulate and monitor implementation of environmental management programs on air, water, reforestation, solid/hazardous waste management, oil spill and sanitation;

5.Coordinates with the company’s environmental consultants for needed documents and update status on Environmental permit applications;

6.Recommends opportunities for continuous environmental improvement to the CEO and direct reporting on project updates;

7.Periodic field visits and monitoring of construction activities on project areas;

8.Conduct environmental department meetings twice a month;

9.Prepares letters, general correspondence, technical reports and documents;

10.Ensures compliance with all applicable environmental regulations set by government agencies. Reviews and analyzes local and international legislations and environmental regulations that govern on each EWG project locations;

11.Facilitate compliance to the ECC, liaise and secure pre-construction permits (permit-to-cut, PPA, PRA, CAAP, NCIP, LGU permits etc.), application and renewal of necessary environmental permits and mandatory reports submission to DENR-EMB and other government regulatory agencies;

12.Represents the company and facilitate meetings and activities of the Multi Partite Monitoring Team (MMT);

13.Alternate representative of the company on the Technical Working Group (TWG) on Natural Gas Quality Standards, Department of Energy;

14.Perform duties and responsibilities as the designated Pollution Control Officer (Section 5 of DENR A.O. no. 26 s 1992) such as:

14.1. Conducts regular pollution control audits of facilities and operations to ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.

14.2. Attends to the requirements of the establishment or agency prior to the construction or installation of pollution control facilities including the application and securing of necessary pollution permits and renewal thereof.

14.3. Monitors activities pertaining to the installation or construction of pollution source and control facilities to ensure their compliance with the air, noise and water quality standards.

14.4. Supervises the proper operation and maintenance of pollution control facilities of the establishment or agency.

14.5. Reports within reasonable time to the Department the breakdown of any pollution control facility, and the estimated and actual date of completion/repair and operation.

14.6. Submits validated/certified periodic reports regarding pollution cases and/or environmental management practices.

14.7. Maintains liaison with the city/provincial/municipal or local pollution control officers.

14.8. Attends meetings of Pollution Control Officers and

14.9. Recommends to the management the installation and operation of additional equipment for the pollution abatement facilities.

15.Coordinates with the members of the Multi-Monitoring Team, DENR-EMB Central Office and Calabarzon/Quezon representatives, other environmental agencies and bureaus;

16.Handle other matters of environmental concern; and

17.Perform other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
