ACADEMIC PROJECTS
Security Architecture Achieving to achieve anonymity and traceability in Wireless Mesh Networks Feb 2012
Technologies used: JavaFX, JDK 1.6,Netbeans 6.9, Oracle 10g
Proposed a security architecture to ensure anonymity for honest users and traceability for misbehaving users where in the P2P and payment system like e-cash system only anonymity was available. This was achieved using the modules namely Ticket issuance, Ticket deposit, Fraud detection and revocation where initially we authenticate ourselves by providing our credentials to a trusted authority which will in turn provide a ticket with number and expiry date upon verifying our credentials. This ticket will be used for further communication until it expires. By this way, credentials of the user will also remain secret and at the same time misbehaving users can also be traced.
Programmatic approach to compare the efficiency of Distance vector and link state algorithms Aug 2015
Developed programs in C language for graph based algorithms such as Dijkstra, Bellman ford to calculate the shortest path between the source node and any other node in the network which includes the nodes with negative edges. Also implemented a C program for the widely used self-routing switiching fabric Banyan-batcher which can identify and reach the ouput port for any incoming packet without any path contention or output port contention based on the routing header information in the packet.
LogParser Enhancement and Consolidation (Garmin Technologies) Currently working
Techologies: Java, KML, GPX, XML, Visual Studio, Perl, Python, bash
Tools: Diamler Log tool, MCViewer, NTG5E PC simulator, NAR map
To automatically process the log(s) to bundle the multi-part routes together, identifying the originating threads, calculating the route level information like route distance and calculation time. Also, should be able to process multiple files at the same time where the relevant data is categorized in to folders and create a API playback file along with Google Map URLs.
