PERSONAL STATEMENT:

I have always been curious about medical science and always wanted to be someone who could make a difference in this noble field. My aim is to get excellence in clinical and diagnostic medicine and I love doing research in this field. In future I have plans to get my specialization in paediatrics medicine.

PRESENT APPOINTMENT:

01-02-2014 to current as a Medical officer in Ayub Teaching Hospital, Abbottabad, Pakistan.

This is a well-equipped tertiary care Government hospital in Abbottabad KPK Pakistan.

My job responsibilities include carrying out regular OPDs, admissions, history and examination of admitted patients,planning immediate management plan,documentation of findings and establishing a differential diagnosis, requesting diagnostic investigations and labs, follow up of all medications prescribed and labs advised, participating in daily clinical rounds,discharge of recovered patients. .Apart from these, I also perform procedures like NG tubing, catheterization, cannulation,lumber puncture,endotracheal intubation,exchange transfusion, Incision and drainage,suturing,debridement and wound wash etc. My job is also to report any unsafe condition, hazard,broken or malfunctioning equipment or accident to their managers and to actively participate in clinical audit. I also participate in regular CME sessions and do presentation sessions on current medical diagnosis,treatment and health issues prevailing in community. One of my duty is formal teaching of staff nurses and lady health visitors (LHV) and promotion of health awareness and education of community, especially children and old age groups by celebrating world health days via awareness walks and lectures.

Excellent communication skill specially in patient and attendant counselling for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, explanation of disease/health education and breaking bad news.

Expert in life saving skills and emergency management.
