Molecular Research: From Jan 2012 to Dec 2013 with Nick Ewing, Ph.D.: Working with the genetic transfer and cloning of proteins within Legumes. Work with genetic alteration of Bacteria making antibiotic resistant and production.

Perform environmental monitoring for manufacturing areas. Perform microbiological testing such as growth promotion, gram staining, sterility, and bioburden. Perform routine testing to support the release of critical raw materials. Assist in the transfer and implementation of microbiological and raw materials test methods. Maintain equipment to GMP standards through cleaning and coordination of calibration and preventive maintenance activities. Participate in equipment and instrument installation, operation and performance qualification. Author equipment maintenance related SOPS, work instruction and other documentation. Compile data to support verification of test procedures, facility qualification and validation. Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned. Perform all job function in accordance with cGMPs.

Maintain and scale up cultures for mammalian cell lines, SF-9 cells, and other cell lines.Harvest cells and culture medium for protein purification. Conduct molecular biology and protein purification tasks. Perform cell based assays for evaluating protein activityusing ELISA. Quality Control testing of bioburden, endotoxin, Toc, and conductivity. Research micro-organisms in food and are tasked primarily with preventing food-borne diseases. Study food poisoning, spoilage, and preservation, as well as participating in food legislation establishment and enforcement. Responsible for the receipt, accountability, distribution and reconciliation of all routine and non-routine samples. Quality Assurance validation, training, sop revisions. As quality control environmental monitoring, bioburden, endotoxin, and TOC testing of raw materials, water and end products. PCR of all incoming samples, full genomic sequencing of positive samples. Receipt and disposal of samples in the QC lab, Equipment qualification, and media Qualification. Environmental testing and Air monitoring, to meet government requirements were performed.
