Tasked with achieving the highest possible profit from each load, I have excelled in building strong relationships with carriers that have helped lead to triple digit profit margins for my team.
My main responsibility was negotiating pricing for each project or shipment. I used various transportation methods with different carriers, watching the company’s preset budget while making sure to select only carriers with a good reputation and service record. After agreeing on a price, my responsibility was to manage the movement and tracking of the freight to ensure it was delivered on schedule. Any issues that may have occurred during transit were my responsibility to diagnose and fix as expeditiously as possible, ensuring the customer is satisfied, their deadline was met, and most importantly that their budget was not exceeded.

My main responsibility was scheduling production to maximize the use of available resources and meet time sensitive deadlines. This was done through daily group meetings and follow-up one on ones with different departments and vendors. This also included keeping detailed notes as to what was discussed as a point of reference for future checkups. I was also responsible for managing multiple project budgets including scheduling labor hours for employees as well as sensitive and confidential information. I negotiated costs of supplies and dealt with multiple vendors from numerous and specialties. All of this was done while great attention to detail was made ensuring artwork and documents met needed production and quality standards.

This position comprised the production of digital projects according to exact customer specifications. This was achieved by using multiple types of copiers and computer programs to attain desired results. Bindery, printing, and copying equipment were all used as well as many different computer programs. These programs included Microsoft Office, as well as the Adobe Creative Suite and machine specific programs. Sometimes troubleshooting machines and calling in equipment for service where also necessary.

Event Coordinator/ Audio Team Captain
In this position my main responsibility is maintaining the order of weekly programs and special events. This process begins by assisting with the layout, setup and breakdown of each venue used. It also includes informing participants of their position in each program, setting and adjusting the agenda of the event as changes arise, and informing designated parties of those changes. As audio team captain I am responsible for maintaining overall audio quality throughout events both indoors and outdoors. Sometimes visual equipment such as projectors, laptops, and flipcharts are also used.
