Responsible for utilizing facilitation, influencing, leadership, coaching and change management skills to drive the implementation of the company’s operational excellence model throughout its facilities in the Americas in order to improve productivity, reliability, availability, utilization and quality resulting in lower manufacturing costs and the creation of long term value. Perimeter included 26 cement plants in 6 countries ($1.2B in manufacturing costs).

Responsible for organizing and directing all production and process department related activities required to produce over 2 million tons of cement while upholding all environmental and safety rules and regulations.
Accountable for the preparation of annual production budgets ($37M in variable costs), monthly production / cost forecasting, and monitoring of key plant performance indicators to ensure targets achieved.
Managed hiring, workload, schedule, training and development of 14 salary and 17 shop floor employees.
Assisted Plant Manager in identifying capital investment projects to reduce operating costs and ensure long sustainability. Implemented a project which resulted in over $600k in annual electrical power savings.

Responsible for organization and coordination of all production related activities while respecting all safety and environmental rules and regulations. Accountable for the preparation of annual department production budget of over 300,000 tons of chemical lime and operating budgets of more than $8.6 million in variable and fixed costs. Managed workload and schedule for a team of 6 staff and 15 shop floor employees.
