Ms. Ralph worked in the environmental field between 1991 and 2009, and then retired. She is currently looking for an interesting, part-time position to fill approximately 20 hours a week. Work Experience

Project Manager

VEETech, PC- Cary, NC

September 2007 to September 2009

Responsibilities included Environmental Site Assessments (Phase I) and soil and groundwater sampling and monitoring (Phase II) and reporting. Ms. Ralph was Project Manager for nine contaminated groundwater sites at a large U.S. Army base in New Jersey. In addition to client interaction, she prepared all reports relating to groundwater monitoring.

Responsibilities included Phase I Environmental Site Assessments and Phase II soil and groundwater sampling in several states. Phase II activities included soil descriptions and supervision of drill crews. Reported on all work.

Project Geologist and Project Manager

September 2003 to March 2006

Responsibilities included the supervision and coordination of environmental projects in NC, VA, and SC such as:

* Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments for petroleum-contaminated sites and real estate transactions,

* Corrective Action following assessments when necessary with heavy emphasis on Natural Attenuation,

* Prepared and review NC, SC, and VA Underground Storage Tank Trust Fund pre-approvals,

* Prepared required reports for all phases of work, including typing, graphics, copying, binding, and mailing,

* Coordination of water connections with the municipal water supply to reduce the risk classification and close the incident.

Worked on RCRA, CERCLA, and VRP projects in several states. Assisted in the production of environmental audit protocols for petroleum terminals in several Caribbean countries and also for industries associated with the International Audit Protocol Consortium in various jurisdictions. In addition to soil, sediment, and groundwater sampling and monitoring, and elevation surveying, Ms. Ralph participated in the production of various documents for clients and regulatory agencies. Document production included data collection and analysis, word processing, and graphic production using Power Point, Word, and Excel for proposals, costing, response to agency comments, Hazardous Waste Management Plans, Contingency Plans, Work Plans, and permit applications for industrial and government clients.
