Increased custom design department from 20% to 75% of total company revenue within 5 years. Integrated China manufacturing and domestic design with fluid online project management. Participated in creating domestic manufacturing facility with multiple CNC machines. Sourced and established a domestic print shop.
Well versed in sheet metal, tube, wire, MDF, all types of wood, acrylic and some plastics. Oversaw Rich Ltd’s image makeover with new logo, marketing material and 2006 website. Managed custom accounts which includes Petco, Brighton, Toysrus, and Sony. Team leader in value engineering, CNC tool pathing, technical drawings, and negotiating manufacturing problem resolution with oversees factories. Responsible for all aspects of custom design while supporting the sales staff. Client contact for initial design, design/engineering, prototyping, production, and packing. Sourced and built relationships through domestic manufacturers in metal, plastic and wood. Gained expertise of design intent and how aesthetics can meet fixed budget expectations.
Responsible for company identity which included all design/production with print and web. Major tasks included store signage, catalogs, newspaper ads, and designing various parts of website. Client contact and problem solving includes Clear Channel, Union Tribune, and Ultra Star Cinemas. production
