Job Title

“Stretcher” Worked alongside a partner on the other end of the stretcher machine to ensure both ends of the extrusions fit the steel jaws to clamp it safely according to the parts’ dimensions. Next, we close the jaws and pull the metal to change its dimensions to the request of the customer.

“Detwist/Hand Straightener” Worked on a 36ft calibrated table to check each extrusion for “bow” and “twist” and used tools to straighten the piece to tolerance.

“Set-up Inspector” Responsible for cooking the correct tooling the presses will be running the following shift, die changes /putting away tooling and checking the dimensions of samples cut off the extrusions being run on the press.
