Associate of Applied Science, Engineering Design & Drafting Technology, 2008-2011 GPA of 3.8 / 4.0 Magna Cum Laude, Silver Perfect attendance award, Dean’s List Awards
SolidWorks, with Finite Element Analysis Simulation and Photoworks, I am currently working on CSWA certifications.
Beginner, intermediate, advanced.
Sheet metal toolbar for a few projects, like a snow thrower.
I can 3D model parts from pencil sketches, assemble them in SolidWorks, and then do the actual physical assembly, also can blue print parts and draft assemblies to ANSI standards with Bill Of Materials and Tables, GD & T.
Tested 3D models and wrote reports with SolidWorks FEA Simulation.
Microsoft Office, and Visio
Word, assignments, resumes.
Excel, time sheets, calculations, equation.
Project, Gantt charts a timeline bar chart of each project.
PowerPoint
Math
Algebra, Trigonometry, Statics, Calculus.
Created project drawings from engineering ideas, with the color wheel too.
Designed a Dart Launcher on a robot and scored points with it in the gymnasium.
English, Electronic and Business communication classes, for communicating.
Strength of Materials class, so I can determine the best material for each part.
St. Paul T.V.I. College, St. Paul, MN
Diploma, Tool & Die Mold Making with CNC,
AutoCAD, Mastercam, Tape control, G and M codes, floppy disk, CNC machining, Pencil drafted, designed, built, set up and ran metal stamping dies in a punch press and a plastic injection mold in a molding press.

WORK HISTORY
GE Water and Process Technologies-Axelon Services, Minnetonka, MN
Mechanical Technician, June 2015-February 2016 Contract position
Calculated water pipe lengths with the Pythagorean Theorem.
Bauer Welding & Metal Fabricators, Inc., St. Paul MN
Tool and Die Maker, March 2014-February 2015
Utilized SolidWorks 2015 daily to verify dimensions, assemble.
Called Engineers on the phone to discuss Tooling designs, in the Tool Room.
Designed by pencil, modifications and improvements to existing tooling.
Produced components for weld fixtures, like base plates, locating blocks, form dies, by running a Fryer 50 CNC mill 3 axis with conversational controls, G and M codes, on complicated vise set ups and on parallels and assembled them.
Used looping to cut a 2 inch radius, with a half inch ball end mill, in the X axis.
Stampings of Minnesota Inc., Lakeville MN
Master Tool and Die Maker Dec. 2013-Feb.2014
Built new medium run metal stamping tooling.
Designed screw and dowel hole locations in the tooling components by pencil.
Measured V die angles and depths with the Ball and indicator method.
The Work Connection-Spartan Staffing, The Bergquist Companies, Hastings, MN
Punch Press Operator February 2013-May2013
Ran a Preco 12 ton punch press, set-up, ran, shimmed, repaired Rule dies.
United Gear & Assembly, MPS Staffing, Hudson WI
CNC Machine Operator, April 2012-February2013
Ran and set-up a CNC DHS four axis machining center using G and M codes.
Inspected parts with a Cordax CNC Coordinate Measuring Machine.
Custom Stud, Valley Staffing, Lakeville, MN
Machinist, March 2007-April 2008
Designed by pencil sketch, then computer modeled with Surfcam, then built tooling for metal stamping and roll forming with a Bridgeport EZ Trak DXII mill.
Created a new steel purchasing account on the phone. Ordered mild steel and tool steel, then filled out a Purchase Order sheet each time.
Four Star Stamping, Hopkins, MN
Tool & Die Maker, September 2005-November 2006
Worked with customers, on phone, verbal, blue prints, to design and develop a reasonable, cost effective, Process Sheet and a hole layout of each job, blank, pierce, form, inspect, ship.
Wrote cost sheet for the time and tooling, for the purchasing department.
Drafted detail drawings of the Tooling needed, then machined, and built it.
Developed unknown sheet metal forms by pencil, a contour form and a emboss tool, by building the form tool first, then measuring and then building the blank tool.
Calculated C=LTS for blank tonnage, and calculated bend allowance
