Major Responsibilities

Configuration and administration of Microsoft (Server2008, Server2012) & Linux (CentOS, REHL, Debain, Ubuntu) Servers and their services such as DNS, IPTABLES, FTP, VPNs including Cisco ASA 5510 (IPSec)

Configuring and administration of an Active Directory authenticating local users, setting up their passwords creating new user’s profile and closed out terminated employees

Enforcing polices and performed analysis of inbound/outbound network traffic, connection time, transmission speeds, packet size and throughput needs through a software based firewall Pfsense

Configuring and maintaining LAN environment using 2960L2 and 3600L3 Switches and 2600/2800 Cisco Routers, managed IP based access control list

Good understanding and hands on experience of Cisco Virtual Private Network (IPsec)

Good understanding and working on VPN Point-to-Point Tunneling protocol through dialer

Good knowledge and hands on experience of Virtualization technologies (e.g VMWare, Hyper-V & Proxmox VE)

Hands on experience on Network management tools (e.g Zabbix, Nagios & Pager Duty)

Familiar with reporting and troubleshooting tool (e.g Remedy trouble ticketing)

Integration Included VPN Tunnels of Telcos of Roshan, Etisalat, EasyPay, AWCC, OrangePay, MTN Afg, AfghanCom, VIVA, ZAIN, Claro, etc and also their alternate L2L VPN implementation with SMSC for top-up transaction

Implement NATTING on Cisco ASA Firewall 5510 for all infrastructure servers
