Master Thesis:

Mathematical modeling of eddy current in an electromagnetic actuator and dynamic modeling to determine the position of grind ball:

The system proposed here has developed to levitate the iron ball of size 4mm. The gravitational force compensated by the magnetic force. The stability of the levitated ball against the gravity is attained by the use of ferromagnetic material. The new system enabled us to determine the position of ball in X, Y and Z direction. The system consists of normal current which depend on flux and electromagnetic force which depend on the current in an electromagnet actuator and also the position of the ball. The current calculation has been done by Inverse Jacobian Method to control the position of the ball and 3D- lookup table which has been constructed in matlab for the calculation of electromagnetic force by using simulation data. The effect of the eddy current on position of the ball has also been studied in the experiment.

Project in Master Studies:

Cell Monitoring System & Realization:

Cell monitoring system allows us to monitor cells remotely either in dark, high humid environment, and also in the daylight environment. By using this setup with four CCD Cameras as our sensor to capture the image of the cell inside the incubator system. The Fire-i Software is used as supporting software for the interfacing of cameras and visualization of image. We can see the cell cultivation without taking them out from incubator systems and cells are unaffected by the environment.

Wimax cell planning and optimization:

The aim of this project is to develop an efficient and reliable model by keeping in mind the future predictions and capacity requirements of the network. Our wimax Cell Planning model is based on calculations of the Link budget, implementing Cell planning Techniques in Map-info and Optimization Techniques.

Bachelor’s mini Projects:

Have written a PLC ladder logic code for conveyor belt by using Allen Bradley PLC; HIL simulation used to test the PID controller function with a simulated process before the controller is applied to real process and used mathematical model of Air heater in a simulator for the representation of real process. Lab-view software has been used for the implementation of this HIL simulation; DC motor control using ATMEL 8051 microcontroller Variable Programming Embedded C (Embedded system project); 8 channel infrared remote control relay board designed that can be used to control other devices or circuits up to 8 devices. This project has been used for the switching lights, fans, motor on & off and etc; Step up & Step down transformer.

Master mini Projects:

PLC programming of robot Staubli with Siemens S7 300; A typical control problem is dealt with: the control of a nonlinear MIMO-system. For this, different types of controllers are to be designed, implemented and tested.
