Responsible for working with all Business Partners on the development of processes/procedures for exporting and importing, world-wide, company owned equipment, whether for company use or customer’s use.

Responsible for Trade Compliance matters and ensuring all pertaining matters.

DHL Supply Chain – LLP Manager – for a large LLP contract in Southampton UK

Creating closer/better relationships with carriers and client by visits, reviews and interaction with carriers.

Ensuring most cost effective possibilities are engaged in the carrying out of contracts.

Instigated, formulated, engaged and put into operation large tender covering carriers throughout Europe (East and West) of some 51 carriers, together with freight negotiations, formulating SLA’s, Manuals and Rate agreements. Tender commenced, saving client c 6.5(six point five) million Euros in financial year, representing 16.4% savings, over previous year. Contract consists in excess of 26,000 freight movements per annum. Movements include road, sea, air and rail shipments. This is for high value security cargo – each truck value c.2.5m Euros.

Separately, instigated, formulated, engaged and put into operation rail freight contract for same client, valued at some 10 (ten) million Euros per year, saving the client c 2.2m Euros over previous year.

Effecting more logical and effective solutions in terms of forwarding and shipping activities, improving costs.

Short term consultancy role in establishing situation, root causes and rectification by re-implementation of whole supply chain for Sudan’s largest Mobile telephone operator (Zain).

Role includes recommendations for change, obtaining approval and implementation of all matters relative, but not limited to packing, shipping from origin, receipt in Khartoum (air), receipt at warehouse and distribution to some 62000 outlets throughout Sudan.

Realising costings, performance indicators and time spans required.

Recommendation of warehouse changes and requirements therein.

Mar 2006 – Sep 2007(contract period for one year, but extended by mutual agreement)

GLOBAL LOGISTICS MANAGER – Anglia Cargo Int’l – based S. East UK. Frequent + extensive travel

Appointed to oversee transport/freight fwding/shipping ops. For contract in Lodz, Poland, with monthly visits..
