Project Description

The project deals with the absolute pollution monitoring in campus. Pollution status of campus at all the places is observed continuously and the corresponding data are stored.The data is forwarded to the local pollution control unit using local sensor network .A novel microcontroller based system incorporated with sensors to measure and monitor the parameters such as pollution, humidity, temperature, air quality, is proposed. A LCD Panel is used to display the above parameters

SIMPLE ELECTRONIC LOCK”

Project Description:

In this project with the help of IC555 TIMER we made a lock system, Generally in lock system we have one locking key for security purpose but here we made a lock system with two lock key which is to be pressed at same time to open the security. Here timer is used to generate a pulse which will provide a time delay.

Automated Remote Monitoring

Project Description:

This project deals with Real time automation of agriculture environment i.e .Irrigation system Automatically or manually.The main purpose of this project is to monitor the paddy crop field in a wireless manner. Here we sense the temperature, moisture and ph values of the field and water level in the well using temperature, level and floating ball sensor respectively. The analog value from the sensors is converted to digital format by the ADC. The sensor values monitored by the controller can be sent wirelessly to the user’s cell phone using GSM modem. The pumping motor can be switched ON if the water level is high in the well. Here we use two motor one for low rpm by using sprinkling motor and another for high rpm by using shunt motor. The motor control can be done either by PC or through GSM modem.The solar panel is used to get the power for the entire system.

Automated Line Following Robot

Project Description:

This is a self-operating robot that detects and follows a line drawn on the floor. The path to be taken is indicated by a white line on a black surface. The robot is built using microcontroller AT89C51 (used as the decision-making device), motor driver L293D, operational amplifier LM324 (comparator), phototransistor (sensor) and a few discrete components. In the circuit, the sensors (phototransistors) are used to detect the white strip on a black background. The sensor output is fed to LM324 & then the comparator output is fed to the microcontroller, which takes the decision and gives appropriate command to motor driver L293D so as to move the motor accordingly.
