Objective

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, year 2013 from State Board of Technical Education, Tamil Nadu with First class.

Experience

I have been worked in The Kerala Minerals and Metals Ltd. (KMML), from September 2014 to September 2015.

KMML is one of the premier Titanium Dioxide Production Company. It operates in India at Kollam (Dist.), Kerala.

Worked as Technician in The Kerala Minerals and Metals Ltd (KMML). KMML have the processing capacity of 2000 to 3000 tons of Titanium Dioxide Pigment.

During this period I trained in the Maintenance Section of following main units such as,

Ilmenite Beneficiation plant

Pigment Production Plant

Central Mechanical Repair Shop

Plant Technical Service

Skills:

Trouble shoot and diagnose of repairs positive displacements centrifugal pumps.

In depth knowledge in trouble shoot and diagnose repairs of rotary and reciprocating compressor, rotary air lock, Gear Boxes.

Sound knowledge in maintance and servicing of safety valves.

Exceptional ability to perform balancing of blower impeller, Fan and rotor of motor.

Performed knowledge in NDT (Dye–penetrant), Flame test of Reactor, Hydro Leakage Test.

Experienced in handling Hydraulic press, Hydraulic pullers etc.

Exceptional ability to use precision and diagnostic instruments to measure required tolerances of mechanical parts.

Sound ability to read and intersect plans specifications and manuals.

Monitoring equipment & maintaining process parameters within the guidelines of the operating manuals and procedures.

Handling Plant emergencies, upsets, Start Up, Shut down & Trouble Shooting from the Field.

Responsibilities:

Under taken the repairs of various vertical mounted pumps like Lawrence pump, Gallagher pump, and Warman pump of varying discharge up to 8”.

Having good experience in seal setting in pumps.

Experience in Gland packing in pumps and digester.

Handling different fluids like Acid, slurry and Tickle (TiCl4).

Performed service and maintance of various horizontal mounted pumps like PVDF, Warman, Micro finishing, Antico and Kirlosher.

Handling different fluids like Acid, slurry and water.

Having vast experience in servicing and maintance of pumps, on site coupling alignment and leak arrested.

Having experience in repairs and maintance of reciprocating compressor and its piston alignment.

Performed dismantling and repairs of various gear boxes like PBL, Lightening, Premium, and Radicon which is used for agitator, Roaster, digester and conveyors.

Belt conveyors alignment.

Have good experience in balancing of blower impeller, rotor of motors

Experience in Hydro Leakage Test, Flame test and NDT (Dye Penetrant) testes of Reactor, Reactor cooling tubes etc.

Check and repair different kinds of safety valves which is used in chlorine,Nitrogen storage tanks, steam pipe lines of pressure up to 26.5 kg/m2

Servicing and maintance of rotary and reciprocating compressor which is used to compressor oxygen, nitrogen, chlorine and air.

Condition Monitoring of rotating equipment’s with Vibration Meter.

Inspection of Sand blasting and Insulation of piping’s, storage Tanks, Vessels, etc.
